“It is particularly important to me to show young people the way to a fulfilled and happy life by being clear about their own life dreams, priorities, goals and potential.”
Would you please introduce yourself?
"I am Josephine Sickert. In search of clarity, orientation and the next piece of the puzzle in my life, after graduating from high school, I did a voluntary social year in geriatric care, an apprenticeship in a 5-star hotel, 20 months of backpacking in Latin America and subsequent parental leave led me to YOUTH GLOBE.”
What do you want to achieve as a trainer at YOUTH GLOBE?
"I am driven by the desire to see my fellow human beings leave happier than when they came. No matter whether they are residents of a nursing home or guests in a luxury hotel – in the end, the life of every individual revolves around being happy and being able to look back on a fulfilled life. However, especially when traveling, I met many young people who (just like me) were looking for answers to questions about how to take their dreams seriously and how to precisely define their goals. It's not just a lack of clarity about how much our own lifetime is worth and how we want to use it. Many people lack the courage to dream big and believe that their goals can be achieved – regardless of age or social status.“
And you will certainly help your seminar participants to develop this courage and belief in their own #potential so that they can successfully meet their next challenges with satisfaction.
What convinced you to get involved with YOUTH GLOBE?
The deeper I immersed myself in the YOUTH GLOBE content, the more answers I found to these essential questions. Before I knew about the ChampionsTour, searching for the pieces of the puzzle of my life felt like looking for a needle in a haystack. But the fascinating thing about learning how to use the “superpower” of self-management is that it becomes easier and easier to find the right pieces for your own life and put them together successfully. The intensive examination of your own values and priorities in all areas of life makes it easier to decide whether you are willing to pay the price for a goal or a change. In doing so, you suddenly realize how much power you have in your life to choose the most valuable of the many possibilities for yourself.
As a trainer, I want to pass on this power to young people in particular. With the ingenious toolbox of ChampionsTour, I want to support other people in taking their happiness into their own hands. Because all too often we think or say, “What luck you have, unfortunately I can't do that!” My goal is not only to eliminate this sentence from my own thoughts, but to replace it with as many people as possible: “I am the champion of my life – if I really want to, I will find a way to achieve my goal!"
Great! Are there certain things that are particularly close to your heart in this regard?
“When I grow up, I want to change and improve the world!” – I'm sure I'm not the only one who still secretly carries this childhood dream in their heart. The more I've seen of the world, the more I've realized that this dream is only naive if you believe you have to do it alone.
As a trainer, I am particularly looking forward to not only learning more and more about my own potential and leaving my comfort zone, but above all to enabling other people to grow beyond themselves and to realize their own dreams. Because we not only have the power to achieve something amazing in our own lives, but also in the lives of those around us.
And that's why I can't wait to make a decisive, positive difference in the lives of as many people as possible through my work as a trainer at YOUTH GLOBE.“
