Tippmann family, Leipzig
On this day, the day after the LMI final event, we want to thank you. Since last year you have helped our son develop tremendously. Thanks to the LMI events he was supported and challenged. He set his goals and he worked and is still working on them. For Mark, the training helped strengthen his professional goal. He could gain professional insight into economic companies and thanks to a comprehensive test he could analyse his strengths and weaknesses. We are thankful for the new experience we made canoeing, and the perpetual motivation by Mr. Zimmer that helped Mark fulfil his tasks and work on his goal implementation. The evening yesterday impressively showed us the step ahead that the young people have taken. We witnessed various presentations that were full of creativity and energy. We wish you lots of success for the upcoming courses and participants.

I want to thank you very much for your great commitment for running the course “The Making of a Champion”. Content-wise, and as the father of Jannis Menzel, the course had appealed to me very strongly. This course can go toe to toe with higher management trainings. The topics are well prepared, the training materials and the organisation of the events over an entire school year guarantee success. Since my son has visited this course (11th grade / 2012-13), the world has moved for him. Suddenly he‘s motivated and he gets up in the morning full of excitement. His school results have improved by 0.3 grades. Applying a new learning technique from the course, he has completed this hated topic excellently. His desk looks like an office – he has a list full of deadlines. Of course, he hasn‘t become an entirely different person, but he now has the firm will to study, and to strive for “business informatics”.

we want to thank you very much for our daughter Irene (as well as our daughter Anne before her) being able to successfully participate in the LMI course. She has improved in all subjects and she was amazed by the meetings and workshops. For Irene, the course was no burden in addition to school work, but a great gain to improve her performance and reach her goals. I hope that many youths will use this opportunity the course provides, and thereby create a basis for their further life.
I am 17 years old, and have been iving in Leipzig for 10 years. As my two older sisters have already moved out, my younger brother and I are keeping the flag flying at home. Educationally, I am currently heading for my Abitur.
In my free time I like to relax playing piano, singing, chilling at the lake, and especially doing sports. Be it handball, football, volleyball, jogging, cycling, inline skating, or climbing - it‘s fun. In summer the sun‘s rays draw me into my comfy hammock.
What did you think about the MOC course?
The course itself was amazing. I have rarely learnt so much in so little time. Real desire, wishes, dreams, goals, real commitment and real work, motivation and development, successful role models - now I know what I‘m doing! But it was also very exhausting to work on the topic and on yourself every day. My usual day was chock full and yet I have never experienced that much in any other year. I have the MOC course to thank for that. It was a lot of fun to discuss with new friends about the topics of the lessons. Everyone openly and honestly layed out his opinion. That also made the feedback rounds much easier, which was quite important to me. I regard critique as a benefit, because only if I realise my mistakes, can I learn from them. The LMI-Days were a very inspiring input. I could implement many of the given thoughts into my everyday life. That allowed me to broaden my horizon instead of just sitting on what little knowledge I had before. The most important thing for me is getting to know my own body, my own character with all its flaws and strengths. Only like this I can overcome challenges and fears, and dare new things.
My name is Jean-Pierre and I am 26 years old. I am living in Berlin with my girlfriend and I was looking for a job for many years. In recent years, I have tried many things, but I have never been satisfied with my professional work. I am currently in a competency assessment with the job center for a career as a social worker professional.
What did you like the most about this course?
We took part in the course as a team and were like a small family after a short time. The cohesion throughout the group motivated me along the course. It was especially important for me that we had already coordinated all the schedule in the 10-week course during the kick-off meeting. This gave me a clear structure the entire time. The ongoing and everlasting orientation to my further professional planning has given me new motivation. All were very surprised that I was undergoing the course so actively. In the mean- time, I was encouraging some of my friends to better manage their time as well.
Hello, my name is Konstantin Klein, and I am 19 years old. I am pragmatic, adaptable, and interested in many things. I study chemistry, and spend my leisure time fishing, reading, doing sports, or with friends. I am determined, helpful, curious, and confident. Naturally, I have weaknesses, but I am well aware of those for the most part. It is my dream to become a chemist and uncover one or other of the world‘s secrets.
Why should we take part in the "MOC" Course?
The course was great, without exaggeration! On one hand you receive great instruments for managing yourself, and you are taught how to use them. And on the other hand you learn much about the social world, and you grow more conscious about dealing with your fellow people and with yourself. My parents and friends have noticed the change very quickly, and they liked the way in which I developed. My advice would be giving the program a chance and participating in it if you haven‘t done it yet. Personally, I think that the program as immense potential for everyone using it effectively. I for my part have not regretted participating, and I am profiting from what I‘ve learned now and probably will be profiting from it for the rest of my life.
My name is Lena and I‘m 14 years old. Since September I have been attending the 10th grade at a high school in Hamm. I live with my parents, my three brothers, and our four dogs near Dortmund. During my free time I like to read and undertake many activities with my friends. I also like everything about sports, and especially I like horseback riding. In private, and in school, I always do my best and am determined to pursue my goals.
What did you think about the MOC course?
I saw the MOC course as a discovery and insight into my personality and my goals. I have uncovered dreams that I didn‘t even know I had. During the course I could implement these goals and successfully reach them. I have learned facing challenges, overcoming obstacles, and never to give up. Additionally I have learned about my strengths and my potential.

It was most important for our decision for participation, that our trainees would learn practically oriented topics like setting priorities, planning of the right activities, and their goal-oriented and effective implementation. We were surprised by the effectiveness with which our trainees could implement the course contents into the daily practice. Positive changes in the areas of confidence, communication abilities, team working abilities and motivation are great examples of that. Therefore, we regard the course “MoC” as an opportunity to appreciate good training performance through participation.
